about

I've been incredibly fortunate in my choice of education(s) and career(s). First art college (what is now the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Khio for short) and then, some years later, I began my studies at the department of Psychology,  University of Oslo, graduating in 1996. I was amazed at how much the two fields could supplement each other, and have held seminars and lecture at the National Academy about how psychology research is good for visual art.

The CV looks like this:

Educated in painting at what is now called the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, 1974-1978

Qualified as a psychologist at the University of Oslo, dept. of Psychology, 1996, with the thesis "Art in the Eyes of Artist and Others"

PhD from the  University of Oslo, dept. of Psychology, 2006, with the dissertation  "Perceptual Processing in Artists and Laymen"
